Just as books can be censored, displays, programs and databases come under fire. Libraries provide resources and services that are essential to ensure equitable access to information for all, including underserved populations. But while libraries are often well-versed in protecting the right to read, many lack policies and experience in addressing censorship of resources and services. This presentation will highlight specific case studies and offer practical guidance on safeguarding intellectual freedom beyond book challenges.
