The Colorado Association of Libraries' Annual Conference is Colorado’s premier event for library staff from libraries of all types throughout the state. Attendees learn from one another and hear from current experts in trending fields. Additionally, participants may meet with vendors to check out their latest products and services and attend networking events to create new contacts and strengthen relationships.

CAL Awards
We are excited to celebrate the accomplishments of our Colorado Library Community through the Colorado Association of Libraries (CAL) Awards! Nominating a person, a library, or a program is easy.
These awards are given annually at CALCON in order to highlight, celebrate, and inspire people inside and outside of the library world! Our Colorado awards showcase innovative ideas, hard work, and accomplishments. Do not hesitate to nominate anyone (including yourself!). Nominations are kept private.
Members of the CAL Awards Committee, a volunteer group of people who work in libraries throughout Colorado, review the nominations every year and choose winners from each category. If you’d like to join the CAL Awards Committee, please contact chair Linda Lewis.
Awards are meant for the 12 months from April the year before through the end of April of this current year unless otherwise noted. Nominations were due by midnight on July 3, 2023. Thank you to all who submitted nominations.
