Help At the Conference

We are in need of a few volunteers this year for CALCON.

1. In-Person Room Moderators: Support presenters by helping to greet attendees, ensuring the session stays on time, keeping the discussion on track, passing out handouts, and helping with Q&A.

2. Virtual Room Moderators: Do you have intermediate to advanced Zoom skills (or are a beginner who is willing to learn more)? Support online presenters by admitting attendees, announcing a session sponsor (if applicable), introducing the speaker, helping to monitor chat, and assisting with interactive activities.

3. A/V Support:  Are you able to remain calm while troubleshooting why the PowerPoint presentation isn't playing the video embedded on the slide? Are you good at figuring out things on the fly? If so, volunteer to be tech support for the presenters at CALCON 2021. You will need to be familiar and comfortable with common issues with laptops and projectors, along with presentation software and apps, and be able to quickly troubleshoot while maintaining helpful customer service to a presenter.
