• Work with your colleagues to draft a list of your organization's needs in the next 6-12 months.

• Scan the list of vendors and sponsors to see who might be able to help you and your library meet its goals.

• Be sure to draft questions you want to ask.

• Use the booth map in the printed program or CALCON15 app to plan your approach.

• It’s all about relationships, so have real conversations. Be sure to share what you need, and keep them informed.

• Don’t be afraid to set an appointment with your favorite vendor. Meet for an early breakfast or coffee!

• Follow your favorite vendors on social media. Vendors can help educate you on the latest trends, technology and ideas.

• Gather names and business cards from everyone you meet. You never know what connections you may need down the road!

• Don’t breeze through the exhibits, make sure to spend time looking for opportunities.

• Pump up the fun with our Exhibitor Game! Prizes awarded daily!

 

 

EXHIBIT HALL GAME

Exhibit Hall "Library Card": all exhibitors will be automatically included in this game. CALCON attendees will receive a map of the Exhibit Hall along with an old school library circulation card to visit each exhibitor. All cards turned in with more than 50 stamps will be eligible. (Game subject to change.)
